IGPA 2022 Winner

 

Konstantin Emilyanov

Konstantin Emelyanov winner of the International German Piano Award 2022!

He became a true discovery at the 16th International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2019. The winner of the third prize, he received the title “Artist of Radio Russia” and the Audience Award from the readers of Musical Life magazine. Yamaha Artist since 2019. When he was a conservatory student, Konstantin won awards of prestigious international competitions, including the International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz, the piano competitions in Verona, Italy, and Suzhou, China, and the Viotti Piano Competition (first prize and Audience Award). In 2018, Konstantin won the first prize of the 3rd All-Russian Music Competition.

Michelle Candotti

Michelle obtained the piano Diploma with top marks while attending Verona’s “Dell’Abaco” Conservatory of Verona at the age of 14 under the direction of Laura Palmieri. She also obtained with distinction the Master in Performance and the Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music.

She has participated in many piano competitions winning a number of them: among many, she won the “XV Competition for the Best Italian Musician’s Graduates 2009/10” (this led her to recording a CD in September 2011).She won the second prize and Audience prize at the “International Piano Competition A. Scriabin”, the second prize and the “Sir Philip Ledge Trophy” for the youngest finalist at “Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition”, the second prize and the “Rotary Club Award” for the youngest finalist at XXIII International Competition Chopin Rome, receiving also the medal of the President of the Italian Senate, the “Henk de by Junior Jury” in the International Piano Competition Franz Liszt in Utrecht, third prize in the “Brescia Classical International Piano Competition”, she won the XI International Piano Competition “Città di Firenze-Premio Crescendo”.
